WhatsApp templates can be viewed and managed from either the Belio Cloud Portal or the WhatsApp Business Manager.

Belio Cloud Portal

  1. Navigate to Belio portal

WhatsApp Business Manager

  1. Navigate to the WhatsApp Business Manager
  2. Sign in with your Facebook Business account
  3. Select your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA)
  4. Open the Message Templates section
The Message Templates page allows you to:
  • View all approved, pending, and rejected templates
  • Filter templates by category or status
  • Inspect template structure and placeholders
  • Review rejection reasons for failed submissions

Template Statuses

Templates may appear in different states depending on their review and approval status.
StatusDescription
PendingTemplate is under review by WhatsApp
ApprovedTemplate has been approved and can be used for sending messages
RejectedTemplate was rejected and cannot be used
DisabledTemplate has been disabled by WhatsApp
PausedTemplate has been temporarily paused due to policy or quality issues

Important Notes

Only templates in an approved and sendable state can be used with the WhatsApp Messaging API.
Template availability and statuses are synchronized from the connected WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).
